Eugene Kearl
I've been writing fiction, poetry, and nonfiction for some twenty-five years. My varied interests has given me a wide range of experiences and interactions with a diverse collection of people. These interests include outdoor recreation, reading and writing, gardening, natural healing/wellness, overcoming vices, and building a better family. I have worked as a personal history writer, writing tutor, visitor use assistant at a national park, early morning newspaper delivery, pizza maker, grocery store freight, car parts delivery, and a server at a cafeteria, among other jobs. I hold degrees in technical writing and forest resources technology. In addition to the creative writing I've been doing for years, I've enjoyed learning about technical writing and developing those skills. Learning about the basics of forest management was a satisfying opportunity that has only grown my appreciation of the natural world that we live in. I am passionate about building better relations and understandings between people. I am also a constant learner about how to improve wellness (physical, emotional, and spiritual) in myself and those around me.
